Silk Screen Printing Adhesives
Frame Glue * Pallet Spray * Pallet Paste Adhesive

Pallet spray is used in screen printing to keep T-shirts, jackets, or any material from moving while printing. Any movement of the substrate will cause undesirable prints, and make multi- color registration impossible.

There are 3 pallet spray adhesives
1) Spray on pallet when flashing plastisol ink
2) Spray on pallet when not flashing plastisol ink
3) Spray (Web Spray) on pallet when screen printing on sweats

How To Use
1) Remove the plastic cover
2) Point the nozzle at the pallet
3) Hold the can about 6 inches from the pallet
4) Push down on the nozzle while swinging the can from one side of the pallet to the other.

Tex-Tite #1 Mist Spray Platen Adhesive 400-305-3-EA
UPS Ground ONLY
Tex-Tite #1 is the perfect screen printing spray adhesive for T-Shirt and textile printers. It has a light mist adhesive spray that will not transfer to garments.

It's also called "all-purpose" and "regular" adhesive, this is the most common type of aerosol adhesive spray. It's convenient, relatively inexpensive, and it's fairly long lasting.

Application instruction: Shake the can, hold it about 16 inches away from the platen, and spray a quick mist. Wait a few seconds so that the adhesive gets tacky, then load the garment onto the platen.

Tex-Tite #2 Web Spray Platen Adhesive 400-306-3-EA
UPS Ground ONLY
Tex-Tite #2 is a web spray adhesive. Fast tack adhesive recommended for use with automatic presses, or when extra tack hold-down is desired. Great for sweats.

This aerosol adhesive is thicker than the mist type and comes out of the can like a spider's web, which makes it suitable for fleece and heavyweight garments. The web spray is for any material that has an irregular surface. It sprays a thick web that's three-dimensional and puffy, and it grabs the material.

The application instruction: Shake the can, hold it about 16 inches away from the platen, and spray a quick mist. Wait a few seconds so that the adhesive gets tacky, then load the garment onto the platen.

Tex-Tite #3 Flash Spray Platen Adhesive 400-307-3-EA
UPS Ground ONLY
This platen spray adhesive is designed to hold garments at higher temperatures when you are flashing.

For normal prints without flash, use Tex-Tite #1 or #2.

This adhesive is designed for jobs that require flash curing. It only becomes tacky under heat. It gets tackier the hotter it gets.

The Application Instruction: Shake the can, hold it about 16 inches away from the platen, and spray a quick mist. Wait a few seconds so that the adhesive gets tacky, then load the garment onto the platen.

TB10 is a water base pallet adhesive. Should the pallet lose adhesivness, simply wipe the pallet with a wet sponge, to reactivate. You can expect to replace 6 cases of pallet spray, with one gallon of pallet adhesive. You can apply TB10 with the target system TB 100.

Clean up with denatured Alcohol, It needs to soak before cleaning.

For hand spread TB10 use TB-HV

Spread by hand using squeegee or other flat surface. Is a water base pallet adhesive. Should the pallet lose adhesiveness, simply wipe the pallet with a wet sponge, to reactivate. You can expect to replace 6 cases of pallet spray, with one gallon of pallet adhesive.

Frame Adhesive
Screen printing adhesive has come a long way in the screen printing industry, especially when working with Cyanoacrylate glue. When working with wood frames, the preparation of the wood is relatively simple. Sand the wood down, dust it off, and your ready to glue the mesh to the wood. Aluminum frames require a rough surface which needs to be cleaned several times to improve the adhesion of the glue. There are different adhesives for different mesh counts.
When Choosing the correct frame glue to be used in screen printing, consider...
1) wood or aluminum frame
2) which polyester mesh counts will be used.
3) Centipoise or CPS (Viscosity) of the glue
4) Glues chemical resistance

Frame Adhesive
An adhesive or glue used to hold mesh onto wood or aluminum frame, used in the screen printing process.

1200 Primer - Used with flex glue, it activates the glue in 3 seconds. A water based activator. low odor. 16 Ounce Cans, Gallon.

300 Flex - A low viscosity adhesive for wood or aluminum and steel frames.16 Ounce

700 Flex- A medium viscosity adhesive for wood or aluminum and steel. 16 Ounce

Liquid Glue - A two part epoxy glue, for gluing mesh to wood and metal frames. Very high solvent resistant.
